About Us

What happens when those that are entrusted to protect our lives and property make the ultimate sacrifice?

To us, they seem like heroes; but to the families of the police, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel that serve us, they are mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters.

They protect us and put their lives on the line every time they answer the call. As paid career personnel or conscientous volunteer, they serve our communities -- and us!

But what happens when these brave people lose their ability to work, or worse, their lives?

History

The need for the Hero Scholarship Fund became apparent with the untimely death of a firefighter in Gloucester County. His Family, including a 9-year-old son, was left financially unstable.

Aid was sought and received through the Camden County Hero Scholarship 200 Club. Various People and organizations then joined forces to launch a similar group in Gloucester County.

Since that time, the organization has grown to award annual scholarships to High School seniors whose parents are involved in the emergency services, as well as holding various fundraisers to help further our cause!

We are now proud to be among the ranks of other 200 Clubs and Hero Scholarship Organizations across the country!
